The Peiseler "5th Wheel" provides data on the travelled distance for all vehicle motion measurements that require test results without slip. The rotational movement of the wheel is converted into rectangular signals by an electronic pulse generator. Therefore, transducers without any delay are used - as required with 100, 500, 1000, 2000 pulses per revolution.
Even in the most adverse environmental conditions, our 5th wheel delivers accurate measurement results, even at extreme temperatures, snowfall, rain and wetness with puddles on the test track, regardless of the nature or composition of the road surface. Various mounting options provide maximum flexibility.
