TYP-GS Speed Sensor
The radar Doppler sensor TYP-GS measures the speed and the travelled distance of vehicles. The measurement is done contactless over ground on roads, rails and off road. The sensor is easy to install and can be used for acceleration, braking distance and consumption measurements as well as BOStrab.

The TYP-GS with integrated, digital signal processor uses the microwave Doppler effect to calculate the measured value. The algorithm for estimating the speed has been optimized for applications such as: traction control and measurement at high accelerations.
